It is been awhile. But we are back! We spent this summer hibernating and practicing in Joe’s (my bassist) basement, recording with the amazing Matthew Zimmerman at Wild Sound Studio in Minneapolis, and now we FINALLY have the CD, Sticks & Stones READY for you!

After months in the studio, I am excited to share with you Kelly Jo Mitchell, An Acoustic Christmas.

The CD features a mix of newer festive songs and traditional holiday music, with favorites like Oh Holy Night and the more contemporary Hallelujah–all songs with a twist and hint of blues and jazzy piano and vocals. My sisters even joined me for a couple songs adding awesome harmonies.
